    Span capabilities of L4x4x1/4

    Building a pier/dock using 20' sticks of L4x4x1/4" steel (left over from other job..free). How far can I span using the L4x4x1/4 as beams between piers (wood in mud). Decking specs are 50 psf total (10 dead and 40 live load). Will this support a 2' cantilever? Do I need to double the beams...
