I am doing buckling and collapse analysis of a tank structure by FEA software. The results show that the buckling load is much bigger than the collapse load, is it possible? or there are somethings wrong in my model?
Thanks
I am doing a buckling analysis of a tank with internal pressure. In the postprocess, I just found a buckling load factor in ADINA. Should I use some formulations to calculate out the value of the buckling pressure?
Does anybody have some examples about the vibration analysis of storage tanks with liquid inside by using ADINA? I am just a beginner using ADINA. I have no idea how to combind the tank model and liquid model together in vibration analysis.
Thank you.
I found an ADINA example about doing a prestressed vibration analysis of a cylinder shell. I followed the example step by step, but finally I got the results show that the natural frequencies of that shell were the same as well as when the shell was not under prestressed status. I think that...
