if u design it for the operational temperatures this is what happens:
at startup the freezer temperature is high, the compressor is stronger and needs more cooling. Since u made ur design on the operational temperature your condenser will be very small compared to the maximum power of the...
hey all..
what's the difference in designing a refrigeration cycle for air conditioning and for refrigerating?
For example: u design an air conditioning cycle to have 80/67 entry conditions with like 45F for evaporating temp, and on the condenser u may try 95F outdoor air, to 125F condensing...
yes load calculation differences!
it is an insulated room, unfortunately i don't think its well insulated, but didn't get the chance to test it carefully
If u have to design a room with temperatures between -5 C and 0 Celsius. what differs in the calculations?
my guess is that not much differs except the thermostat setting and a machine done to operate at subzero levels....any thoughts?
burner: Danfoss gas burner.
The glass eye sensor, uv detector.
The burner nozzle is overheating and i have to find why that is the case.
I'm thinking of scenarios like: if something is closing on the exit of the burner nozzle, so in a way the flame is hitting solids and returning back to the...
Hey All
I'm facing a problem of the sensor inside the gas supply burning out all the time, lasting less than 2 days sometimes. I tried insulation between the burner and the oven walls to decrease the heat returning to the burner. But it seems like something is always going wrong, or my...
true, but u can control those perimiters.
like if u want to go for a 5 tons DX cond-evap u can go to a 3/8 coil with less loading on each coil, or a 1/2 coil with more loading on each coil....
>50m DX tubing is a hampering agent and a real issue, it makes the unit lose a lot of its capability.
Refrigerant Charge: A LOT
Limitations for water cooled DX systems: i'm afraid i never see a limit in it, but don't have enough experience in this subject.
Chilled water system : Definitely
yep that should do :)...i ran a few tests today, appears the program doesn't consider the heat from the compressor.
feels wierd to design a 60,000 BTU/hr evaporator and have an evaporator working at close to 80,000 Btu/hr (compressor power is adds a 1/3)...takes my condensing temperature a...
oh i got the book few months ago from the library, unfortunately the book is taken now :).
but according to what u said quark, then a program developer may do a program that gives u the condensing capacity of the condenser after it removes the loss of cooling due to the compressor heat?
A...
ok i get power input of the compressor, this is the heat added then !! makes sense i guess...i wish i had compressor curves i have several values under certain conditions the rest i created an excel sheet that iterates the values between the given values.
thnx man, uve been of great help...
not a dumb question actually..but im using a coil design program, i should be adding the heat of the compressor right?
without adding the heat of the compressor the program is giving me answers close to the designs of carrier and york which i'm using to compare my answers to. how do u find the...
