    "OPC"kepware & yokogawa UP750

It is serial comms and, I did get it talking and it looks to me I will be able to select the pattern by writing to the buffer location. The Kepware works really well, auto tags and all. I do realize i will need to build a GUI. Currently they are using another data Aq package that will talk to...

water flow rates in old radiators

THe rads are from a hot water system. It looks like they were running with about 14 gals/mi. That is the flow rate of the grundfoss 15-42 pump that was on the old system. I guess that would be a good starting point. Taco makes a 3 speed pump I might go with to give me some flexablity. Joe

water flow rates in old radiators

Thanks everyone for your input. Does anyone make a preheater for incoming air?? I expect you are talking of the intake air piping. I could get a fin tube and run it inside the intake air pipe.Would this be good?? I would be happier to buy one from a supplier that has been making them for years...

water flow rates in old radiators

I am going to replace a 40 yr old boiler with a new mod-con boiler. I will be heating with old cast iron radiators. I am going to zone the first and second floors and have a primary zone for the indirect water heater. I am going to have pumps for each zone. I am just not sure of the flow rates...

    2750c campared to 2750d

Gents, I have equipment that I have designed that passes the uniformity standards of 2750C. What are the changes in temp uniformity standards in 2750D? I have a customer that is asking if my equipment will pass 2750D and i think it should be no problem because i was within the 2750C by...

    Rusty thermocouple connector

One thing i have done is place the connector(any type tc) in a ziplock bag with a gob of silicone in it. then form the silicone around the connector. Leave sit for a few days. Then remove the bag.I have done this with many different mfg connectors. I have some that have been in direct weather...

    Natural Gas Flow

I think there are positive displacement units out there that could that flow and pressure with very good accuracy. I would suggest getting a pulser output send it to a recorder and do the math in the recorder. This is not cheap but i have done it before and have had good results. Joe

    Honeywell Replacement

I have used the barber coleman 658 converters many many times and they work very well. You will still need the slidwire to work to let the op amp in the converter know the actual position the motor is in. Good luck,Joe I am sure the local honeywell rep would build you a model # for the new...

quench tank for ss and alloys

Thanks for the quick responses, We will also be building an air quench bench for these parts. The bars will be from 2" to 6" in cross section mostly rounds. We also have the possiblity of 3" x 6" x 12.5' flats. The big problem is we are still in the proposal phase and i would like to reduce the...

quench tank for ss and alloys

Gents, I am in the process of putting a heattreat facility together for stainless and alloy steels. It will be a l x w x h--- 30'x6'x 5' It looks like the level will be around 48"Dp to allow for displacement. I am thinking of using the same size tank as a cold tank recirculating the fluid from...
