Hi,
A friend of mine is designing a garden "torch".
the way his design is workong is that he bubbles gas (LPG, butane or propane) through water and he ignites this giving a nice flame comming from the surface of the water in a pot.
He is now facing a problem, the temperatures are below zero (C)...
If you use "bare" tracing clamped on the piping, you better look also at the possibility of galvanic corrosion.
This is specially tricky when you also want to cool your pipes. This cooling will condense water and water together with two different materials will act as a nice battery.

Hi,
I'm wondering what options there are when improving the mixing of liquids in a tank.

Question I have...

In this slide you can size the picture any size you like....

Did you check if there was any kind of analytical way to measure the contamination?
This way you can check your whole process step by step where a possible contamination could occur.
The other question could be: How was the HX checked for leaks (P and T)

Hello,
if you use two independent level transmitters which are mounted separately on the column you can go without switches etc.
They must be used as independent signals etc. So each of the two must be able to trigger actions (e.g. alarms, ESD's etc.).

In any case, if you connect any utility-line to a process line/vessel etc. you'll need some sort of back-flow protection.
This can be in the form of a check valve or instrumented system.

HD2,
I did evening school while having a 40 hr/wk job, fully payed by my employer. This was during the time I was doing shift work. I did all the studying in my own time and nothing during work hours. Not even the practical assigments I had to do. I went to school for 4 years.
Let me tell you...
