I just reloaded V20 Solid Edge on WIN7. Took a trick to get it loaded but it's up and running. The only thing not running is when the tutorial is running it launches the right panes but the part for the selected tutorial does not get loaded. No idea how to get the part loaded.....
I have a simple square to circle surface created but can't figure out how to make it a solid. Please advise

I am running XP. The tutorial files (.chm) launch when double clicked in the folder but they fail to launch .. That's the total issue.

Thanks for that input....if only I understood that stuff in the kb. It seems to be based on web based issues and I wouldn't think Solid Edge, now I can be way off here, is only using IE as a viewer/GUI and all these path issues seem odd to be the issue. I don't know the connection how IE...
The trick was not lauching the .par but launching .asm since the parts library is not applicable at the part level...Standard parts now back...

I have every box from V18 thru V20 and I have no Standard part document...I cant open your link as I have no webkey anymore...
The file location OPTION does not even show a SAC as you noted....

Sounds easy but not for me..I select in OPTIONS, file locations,Managed Standard Parts and it keeps saying it needs a managed folder..I have no idea what this program is now looking for....
