Anyone else have issues with the hole wizard propagating to the components? In the assembly without propagating it works perfectly. As soon as I set it to propagate, the holes move into random locations even though they are fully defined in a 3D sketch in the assembly.
Yea I fixed the single pick issue in 0.2c
Take a look at the unit conversion method I used, you might like it better than what you have in your current file.
Have a great weekend!

Found what I missed ...
The tool tip is no longer working on my machine now though. No matter which way I flip the switch.http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=1027d7cb-1b8e-40bd-81aa-d67ad0adfd73&file=SmartMeasure_VBA_0.2c.swp
One thing I noticed the VBA version is not doing is showing the information of a single entity like the vsta version does. I must have missed something or not had all the code?
Attached is version VBA 2.0b

Here's a VBA version of the current release. Handleman, it might be useful for us to keep a running version so we know what is the latest. I've rev'd this file to 0.2, but it still does not have enough comments for my tastes...
I'll work on a back-to VBA version of what you have. I'd like to incorporate the changes you've made, but I'm going to stay with VBA so I can make my own edits easily. =P I'll post it when it's done.
I've got a lot of jobs on my desk, so it may be a bit before I get back to it.
Yes I've had plenty of problems running SW across two monitors on many different versions. I've personally never seen the need, I like having other stuff on my second monitor anyhow. I know that was terribly helpful. =P
Depending on what you are trying to do, you aren't likely to find much information around on nitinol. Most of the actual formulations are either proprietary or well guarded. Since the percentages of the constituents as well as any processing completely changes the properties of the material, any...
...same, no results were shown.
Attached are edits that address these issues. I also added the ability to set a fixed decimal size and display a "*" after the numeric value if it's been rounded off. Next edits should probably use the SW unit functions to allow any of the units in the doc...
This is their latest attempt to manage their often terrible performance issues. Force the users to work in minimum program state. That's fine if the models would be remain completely representative of any and all previous changes made to them and then automatically resolve when something was...
Sounds like you are testing for high pressure fuel or hydraulic lines for aircraft. I'm not sure if they are competitors of yours or not, but Aerofit Products, Acra Aerospace and Airdrome Parts Company all make these kinds of fittings and perform this test in-house. They may be willing to either...
Can anyone point me to a specification or requirement for temperature and humidity control of inspection specifically for aluminum parts for the aerospace industry. We are primarily non-commercial which means that FAA requirements may not apply. If there are FAA requirements I would definitely...
I am still a bit confused then after rghay's post. So is there some functionality that is just outside of the "normal" user's reach without setting up your own database connectivity?
Maybe I should call and ask myself to get specifics on what is included in the package we have. It may be...
I'm feeling a bit like having the wool pulled over my eyes here. We have been wanting TC forever, but can't justify the cost to upper management. We have Mach L3 (Advanced Machining) so you are saying that we already have TC functionality? The only features we really need right now is what you...
Fairly often when I have a model edge I want to pull into a 3DSketch using the Convert Entities feature, on closing the sketch I receive the following warning message:
"The sketch has not been updated because it contains conflicting model references which are due to the topological changes in...
Fe2O3 is Iron Oxide III or Hematite. You ould be best off ordering reagent grade Iron III Oxide from a reputable chemical supply. Also, Aluminum shavings will not be fie enough to continue the reaction, you will need fine powder of each of these materials to cause a thermite reaction. That's to...
I am looking for a .010" thick silver or copper plating on a 4" cube pin heatsink. I have contacted a number of plating houses and was told that electroplating and electroforming of this geometry was impossible. I am hoping to find an electroless plating solution. I know I can use Electroless...
