    Which is the suitable book for stainless steel manufacture ? I am just charge with supervising stainless steel manufacturing in the steel plant . but I am not proffestional with material , especilay steel making . So who can recommand some book to me for study ?

    so it means that T more than 40mm and D < 600 mm and T/D ratio ? 0,15 ,the manufacture must do the flattening test, doesn't it ? T less than or equal to 40mm, the manufacturer can use either a flattening test or a ring tensile test

    Do 508×42, material is 15NiCuMoNb5, PO standard is EN 10216-2 In the mandatory test section of table 13 of EN 10216-2 , it says that “Flattening test for D < 600 mm and T/D ratio ? 0,15 but T ? 40 mm or Ring tensile test for D > 150 mm and T ? 40 mm” I don’t catch the meaning of the word...
