I need to show a before and after modification (alternate position view) for a part. I don't want to insert this part into an empty assy and chg configs there because I will have to redo model properties. If this were just one part no problem but we may be looking at this for close to 100+ parts.

Is it possible to have a drawing view that includes a large alternate position view and crop out most of the phantom that is not needed. I cannot seem to crop any of the alternate position view entities. Is this a software limit?
Yes they are, it looks like you have to set your default printer to what you want to print your drawings to before hand. That did work but why the pull down does not work or tell you to set you default printer to the dwg spec I don't know.
