Thanks.
I read sometime ago that in order to calculate minimum currents in IEC, 3xIn for generators should be used.
And in EDSA`s IEC tab for generators, there is an input called "Ikd/I0". And if one calculates 30-cycle the corresponding short circuit would be approx 3xIn. (If Ikd/I0 is set...
According to IEC Standard, maximum and minimum short circuit levels should be calculated.
I am using EDSA, and can not see that there is a module for calculating minimum values. There is however the 30-cycle steady-state calculation, can this be used?
What do I need to do in order to get...
Step down, from 440 to 230V. It is a distribution transformer.
My recommendation was based on previous projects, "other people" I do not know, hence the question...
I strongly believe that this should be Dyn11. How would a YnD11 work in these conditions, could you at all have a transfomer of...
Thanx...
What about cable lenght?
One-line diagram shows 50 metres before wye delta starter and 5 meters after... I assume that 55 metres is the correct lenght to use in my calculations??
sorry, the other choice would be YnD11, neutral on HV side.... So we do not necessary need neutral on LV side...
What are the impact of neutral on LV or HV side?
We are doing short circuit calculations according to IEC 363 on a network where a motor is driven by a wye-delta starter.
In IEC 363 you can select the motor reactances to be calculated according to its relative starting current. However, the wye-delta starter of course reduces this starting...
What is the difference between a Yd11 tranformer and Dy11?
I have a distribution transformer (440V/230V) connected in Dy11. As I recommended. However, there are other people saying that it should be Yd11...
Please advise.
