Attached is a report from a Dominican engineer, dated April 15, 2025. He notes the presence of water tanks on the roof (in addition to the a/c units) and possibly more electrical equipment in the central roof top enclosure. Conduit can be seen running to the enclosure from an electrical/equipment room adjacent to the main roof (a new transformer which I've posted photos of earlier sits atop an apparent electrical room). Apparently an official report is set for release (see news article here) but I don't know if it's to be publicly available.

CNN has an interesting video report (Youtube) which outlines potential structural issues with the building which developed over the years. The roof diaphragm had multiple layers of concrete while a perimeter support column was removed where the center stage opening was let into the perimeter wall. Both of these factors play directly into the collapse scenario given the debris field. Structural reinforcements allowing such renovations are not discussed.
