In my area there are three main suppliers, Okonite, Pirelli, and southwire. I don't know any of the marketing information you asked for, but I do know that pricing is based on the volume of wire purchased. The pricing is very volatile and changes almost daily. When I need pricing, I send a RFP (request for pricing) to ten different vendors. This will give you a pretty good range. For budgetting take the highest cost. For purchasing use the lowest cost.
