what pond software is this? POND-2 Version 5.2??

I'm looking at an old stormwater report for a site. The pond was apparently modeled using POND-2 Version: 5.20 S/N (so it says on the top of the calc results). Does this program sound familiar to anyone? This isn't TR55 is it?

stage storage in pipes - how to calculate??

Thanks francesca. One more ? for ya. Other than being able to calc. stage storage within a pipe, what else does the program do? I'm assuming you could use it to route/model a pond and if that's the case, i'm not sure if that program would be recognized/approved around here in IL - most...

stage storage in pipes - how to calculate??

thanks for the response. I have Hydrafow Storm Sewers 2005, do you know if this program has hydrographs for calculating stage storage? I couldn't find "hydrographs" under any of the functions.

stage storage in pipes - how to calculate??

I'm working on a project where we will be providing storm water detention within a proposed storm sewer. Does anyone have any idea on how to calculate stage storage within a storm sewer pipe? The storm sewer will have different diameter pipe. Do you have to run a separate stage storage tabel...

watermain: cut in vs. pressure connection

I did mean a concrete manhole for the valve vault. We're proposing a cut-in connection since as you mentioned, it will be for a proposed 12" connection to an exsting 12" line (municipality doesn't allow same size pressure connections as cvg mentioned). Thanks for all the help.

walking trails - typical sections? fine aggregate?

anyone ever spec. out a typical walking trail constructed using fine aggregate? I'm proposing a 6" thick section using fine aggregate (FA-6).

watermain: cut in vs. pressure connection

generally, what's the difference between a cut-in and pressure connetion. is a valve vault typically required for a cut-in connection (VV is typically required for a PC). also, how do you typically call out a cut-in (simply "proposed cut-in connection")?

connecting to an existing force main

sheesh...found out it wasn't a force main (which would of helped my search) so the new Q would be: when connecting a smaller diameter gravity sewer to a larger diameter gravity sewer...what should be the change in invert elevation i think the A is: When a smaller sewer joins a larger one, the...

connecting to an existing force main

when connecting a gravity (sanitary) sewer to an existing sanitary sewer manhole force main, can you connect at the existing elevation or is there a required elevation (i.e. 6" above existing invert) you need to follow?

    WEIR DETAIL??

We designed a concrete lined weir for the above-referenced project. The client was wondering if we could do anything to the concrete surface to discourage skateboarders from using the weir (and ultimately falling into the pond). The weirs are relatively large (could be ideal for kids and...
