    B31.3 Vent spool hydo test required?

    For a piping in gas service(B31.3 standard), there is a vent spool that includes a valve and a piece of pipe with 2 elbows and is open to atmosphere. Is is required to hydrostaticaly test this spool? If any answer, please tell me the reference.

    Material B 58 Grade A ????

    Does anyone know about this material: B 58 Grade A It is used in a pressure vessel for a semi-elipse head whereas shell is A106B. It's manufactured in 1970s. Thanks
