Hi,
Are yours relays, IED ( i.e. numerical) ? In this case, the best way forward to get use the relays records ( i.e. COMTRADE) for further analysis. such records samples at ( typical values) 20 to 50 samples /cycle.
the outstanding issue will be whether you will be able to (automatiquely)...
I attached ( or at least hope I have) a pdf file describing the MTBF stuff.

For MiCOM P120, as all so-said P20 range, setting is made related to In ( e.g. 0.1 In for 10% threshold).
For information, MiCOM P120 ( as well as other MiCOM) belongs now to Schneider Electric.
Hello,
I am looking for the following article but was not able to locate it.
Does anyone knows where can I get it ?
Author is N.E. Korponay and title is " the transient behaviour and use of current transformers". It comes from brown bovery review, 1975.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Bdf,
the trip itself will not be latched but the output contact ( RLxx, blue color in PSL) shall be latched.
On the remote end, received signal shall be routed to RL, this one being latched.
regards,
Limits at nominal current for 5P/10P are given in IEC 60044-1. this one is being replaced, but I assume it is still given in the new norm.( sorry, I don't remenber numbering).
