Can Suction pressure be higher than the discharge pressure? I think this is not possible but cannot understand.
The equipment is Hydraulic Turbine and the pressure i am getting in the drawing is as below
Suction Pressure : 30 bar
Discharge pressure: 12 bar

Is there any prescribed value (in pressure and rpm or pressure difference) where the face should start to lift-off?
What would you recommend to start with the test of these seals?
