I'm a french engineer in mechanics and i have to make the numerical model of an armchair travelling.
The problem is not in static, but in dynamic : i don't know how to incorporate shocks loading (against an obstacle, trottoir,...).
I use Catia5 (FEA module) and ansys (5.5) but i haven't got Ls...
