I obtained my MS through this program and completed a few years ago. Here is a general takeaway, let me know if you have any more specific questions.
My admission was oddly difficult. I met and exceeded all stated requirements for the program, but they withheld their decision until days...
What you're looking for is a check box labelled "Additional Vector(s)" in the post processing toolbox. You can actually specify two additional vectors once you check that box.
Yes, I think there is a way. You have to look in the post process tab/window for second contour or second criteria and not the popup you access from the toolbar. If I recall correctly, you only get one set of levels though, so outputs have to be in the same range.

We're performing Iosipescu ASTM D 5379 shear lab tests and using foil gages to measure the shear strain. Vishay makes a custom gage for the application, but we had some difficulty with results, lead time and cost.

Given that T3 is typical sheet stock, this isn't at all uncommon. T3 is cold worked, T42 is more commonly used for parts which are heat treated after fabrication - permitting easier forming but preventing the use of cold working.
One thing to check is whether or not both skin and doubler are...
I'm trying to estimate the lateral / in plane displacement for a problem that amounts to a plate subject to normal pressure.
Research and trial so far makes me think this data can't be obtained from plate elements - in plane displacements always show zero. Trying other formulations but so far...
I recently obtained a Masters in aerospace from another top US university with a similar GPA. It is not on my resume, and it hasn't come up. On the other hand I have experience, so that may affect my responses.
My suggestion is leave it off and keep the focus and your qualitative...
If you're using the plastic bending curve for the same section profile then you needn't check crippling. If you've got a section such as a hat or zee for which plastic curves are not available/applicable, then you need to check the crippling value for the compressive cap as rb says.
I've often...
Must be the advanced course, last semester we knew the location and only had to calculate the deflection :)

Kirby,
I'm not a repair station expert, I work on the other side of the fence with the ODA at a facility which also happens to have a repair station. Also, not all repair stations have the same procedures and requirements, so take my info with a grain of salt and find your repair station manual...
