Is it possible to model a part like a flexible link with ABAQUS? Particulary a part to model a cable behavior which does not present any efforts of moment resulting according to the perpendicular to its centerline.

in fact, i have to do an boundry condition which let free the rotation around the Z axe and the translation according to x and y axes and for the axe z, the motion should be free in one sens which is Z- so this boundry condition prohibit the translation in the sens of Z- and the rotation around...

how can i modelize in abaqus, of course, a displacement according a single axe example "z", but in on direction z+ ou z- ??
