Vulcraft does provide free .pdfs for their catalog on their website through nucor.
Vulcraft is a member of SJI and has to meet certain guidlines they set.

The design ended up using AASHTO HS-20 and we intended on using precast. However, due to construction costs at the time, the project was scrubbed.

Could anyone recommend a good refernce for steel stringer design. It seems there is a de-facto std. using mc12X10.6 or c12X20.7. Has anyone run through these calcs to satisfy a curoisty on limtations of these channels?

How about using some heavy gage metal studs spaced as needed (8",12" or 16" o.c.) along one or both sides. You could fasten them to a
8" channel along the top and fasten them into slab on grade.??? I'm not sure of your top of wall condition?Through bolting could work for the...

Thanks, but it has been some time since you've taken it. The FE is now closed book. (Although they do give you a handout when you walk in.)The PE is open book if thats what you meant? My hats off to you for taken both at the same time though. It takes some big ones to do that.

There are other product too.
You might do a search on "helical" soil anchors and the like for other altenatives.
A Geotech should always be consulted first thought.
