2 differing cores. One core is wound such that each sheet is 1 complete turn plus a half inch offset. The other core is 1 complete turn less the gap. Question which core is more efficent and why?

Core losses...on 2 differing cores. First core is wound such that each sheet is 1 complete turn plus the offset. The other is cut one complete turn less the gap. The core with 1 turn less gap should be more efficient but how to prove it and why?

Need help. Wound cores vs Stack core. Which is better and why? I have never ben given a clear answer to this. Anything would help. Thanks

I am trying to get data on the diffrent types of transformers. Which is better and why sort of thing. The 2 are a Stack core and a wound core.I continually get conflicting info. Any help would be appreciated
