Fire riser entrance > 10 feet
I know from NFPA 13 (10.4.3.1) that a riser pipe needs to be within 10' of an exterior foundation. But I have in my memory that a fire suppression installer had told me a few years ago that using an Ames in-building riser, this could be extended to 30 feet.
