Lateral load applied by pipe wrapped on a reel
We're working on the design of a large fabricated reel and want to determine the distribution of load on the inside faces of the reel due to the self mass of the pipe. We have reviewed loads applied due to tension in the pipe (similar to loads on a sheave...) but cannot find anything relating to...- Wilski
