Thanks for that suggestion but in this case I am measuring the extension of the B16 stud in order to calculate the load using youngs modulus. I am concerned that if any creep occurs that may introduce error into the calculation. In effect I want to check there is no creep of any significance for...

Does anyone know where I can find graph or similar for creep properties of AISI 4140 or B16 type studs say up to 400C? Thanks
