Relief fan on ducted return system

Hi lukaiENG, thank you for your inputs. 1. We're planning on using airflow measuring stations to control the relief fan. 2. We do have an airside economizer and yes, it looks like the unit was selected for 100% return air already. Will having all that static on the supply fan be a problem? It...

Relief fan on ducted return system

Hello Everyone! I was wondering if anyone here has used a relief fan on a ducted return system. We usually go with a return fan but due to budgetary and size constraints are contemplating on using a relief fan for the unit. I was wondering if anyone here has done this and could share their...

    Generator room ventilation

Hello everyone, I was looking for requirements on ventilating a generator room. Does it have to only be naturally ventilated? I've looked at NFPA 110 (2008) but it seems ambiguous.

Hello Everyone, Thank you all for your comments, thoughts, experiences and suggestions. I really appreciate it and feel that I should probably postpone the idea of becoming a Registered Analyst till it gains recognition. But would you recommend that I get any kind of certification that would...

    Integration points

Hi experts, Could someone tell me where are stresses and displacements calculated? Are they calculated at the nodes or at the integration points? Thanks and regards, Siddharth Premkumar.
