Hi Bill,
Please see attached drawing i have added, it shows the transformer with the two LV supply’s coming off it feeding the two LV panels. Both LV panels contain a set of CT's and one panel contains the relay MCAG16 looking at both sets of CT's protecting the supply cable/transformer...
Hi Marmite,
I have attached the drawings showing the two sets of CT's, you can see the neutral CT is missing.

I have come across a REF setup causing some confusion, any help. Comments are welcome!
Setup: One 11KVA transformer with two LV feeds supply two C&H LV Switch panels with one switch panel containing a interconnector supply another LV panel.
The MCAG setup is as follows: MCAG relay located on...
Thanks guys for you help and input, Shutting down soon for testing so will hopefully get a result. Tripping became more frequent as load has increased over time, making the possibility of a reversed polarity on the neutral CT also have notice the stabilizing resister setting have not be altered...
Thanks for you reply, A bit confused on the two methods. If you use the first method KVA = kv x current x 1.732 this gives a much higher KVA then the second method. Is there a reason for this?
Hi,
Can anyone help clear the air, I am trying to calculate the total KVA demand from a set of reading i took from a 3-phase supply. I used a power quality meter to record the max current reading from each phase. 120A 140A 143A, i am trying to convert the reading to a total KVA demand but...
Hi Guys,
Please could you help with any suggestions.
I got a 1000kVA 11KV dry cast resin transformer with two LV panels connected to it. It has a MCAG14 on the interconnecting LV panel but also seems to have a set of CT's connect to the other LV panel, The REF tripped around a year ago which in...
