    Jukebox Bubbles

Is that really practical in a jukebox though? I wouldnt think there would be any liquid besides water in there due to health risks associated with any other substance.

    Jukebox Bubbles

I was recently at a local establishment that had a jukebox. A friend of mine noticed that the bubbles inside the water tubes on the seams of the box would shrink as they moved up to the top, almost to the point of completely disappearing. I have tried reasoning my way through why this would...

    Gas Turbine Cleaning

We havent had too much success with water washing this unit and it has been derated by 40% already due to surging at base load. Water washing only had significant effects on the first few stages of the compressor, therefore we wanted to test the shells for cleaning improvement. We were able to...

    Gas Turbine Cleaning

I recently became aware of Carboblast cleaning on gas turbines. I have been reading about different materials used in CarboBlasting, the one that seems to be most popular is using walnut shells as the medium. Could someone suggest a website where I could find out more information about...

    CT Compressor Surging

The working fluid is ambient air, which of course fluctuates in composition. The unit is primarily operated during summer months (using natural gas as fuel), therefore, capability is capped. I failed to mention that the surging only occurs just as the unit is reaching full capacity and ambient...

    CT Compressor Surging

We have a CT Compressor surging problem with one of our CTs. I can attribute the problem to excessive diaphragm clearances and compressor blade deposits. However, surging only occurs above ambient temperatures above 95 degrees F. I cannot find a reason why this would occur. Any ideas? Thanks!
