    Pre-Engineered Metal Building

    Well, the reason I ask is because it is SDC "d". The PE bldg is braced with special masonry reinf. shearwalls. I beleive that the pe bldg frame musy only have to take 25% of the seismic load. Thx for your input.

    Is a pre-engineered building frame an ordinary, intermediate, or special moment frame? Or can it be any of these depending on what the owner/code requires? thanks.
