thank you Dwight, anyway we are not inventing the wheel. We master the process of mesh-overmolding, we are just trying out solutions to improve our process. This is the meaning of my inquiry.
hello
in my previous job we used to make glycol bath. The parts are stored in the hot (I do not remember the testing conditions)bath for a certain time. If there are air traps, burned material surface or flow lines the glycol corrodes the PA. If the part is molded correctly, the glycol won't...
Hi I posted this on the injection molding section but had no replies, maybe will be lukier in this section:

we were investigating new processes to handle automatically cut forms of Nylon (PA66) mesh (60micron open area)and place them in a 2-4 cavity injectiong molding tool for overmolding. The form is not so complex and almost flat. we need an accuracy of max 0,5mm. the mesh form is about 80mmx35mm...
Hello, I am not an engineer so I may be posing a silly question: can extruded pa 6 or 66 glass reiforced extruded tubes be formed, bended just like metal tubes? what process would be needed?
The idea would be to buy extruded tubes cut and bend them afterwards.
