I'm not sure if you wish to separate and collect/ salvage both oil and refrigerant? If you just want to remove oil from the vapourised refrigerant, then you can consider using a micron filter, such as those used in air compressors to remove oil from compressed air.
Zirconium is a good alternative to Ta and is cheaper. It is slightly more expensive than Hast alloys but better corrosion resistant.

Hacksaw, we don't use a pump. As the vessel is pressurised, we relieve the pressure from 4 bar to about 1.5 - 2 bar, then the slurry is sort of push through into a holding tank where we quench it to lower temp.
However, there is a hast-C valve at the bottom of the vessel.
