    load on end of bolt

    I would like to find a formula to figure the amount of lifting force in lbs. when you exert a given amount of torque on a bolt. My most recent project involves (6) 5/8"-11 bolts on a 8" bolt circle, I would like to develop a total load of about 60.000 lbs. Thanks Bob
