Is it possible to define TWO frequency storm met models in HMS and assign one of them to one sub-watershed (or a few) and one of them to the remaining sub-watersheds? The question is posed in the context of a large study area with highly variable rainfall from one end to the other.
I'm looking for suggestions for a few good desk references for HEC-RAS, particularly, those that give good explanation of the mathmatical model, as well as accounting for uncertainty in the output. Thanks.
In RAS Geometry have you run Manning's N Values -> Create LU Manning Table and Extract N Values after you processed all cut lines? In HEC, you will know this worked as either a single N Value will be populated at the first station if using Global N, the LOB, Channel, and ROB values will be N/A...
I have a series of bridges (two) that occur relatively close together. As seen from the attached GIS images, the first upstream bridge enter the floodplain from a parellel direction. How would I best attach the downstream cross section to this bridge without encroaching into the upstream cross...
