Ahh... that is a very good point... By unchecking the original constraint options you can go back and correct them later... Hard part is getting people to go back and fix them sadly...
I was only making my comment because some people may not be aware of the the ramifications to using...
I find the "FIX" option a bit rough to use... It does work... But you loose the reason for having all those relationships in the first place... Meaning that when you change something... Everything is "fixed" in the old location... not normally what is intended...
I...
The pause is actually there on purpose... because the right "click" itself acts as a toggle between potential selection choices... and the right click "hold" gives you the pop up menu... To reduce the click pop up would probably confuse it and potentialy loose one of the uses...
Believe it or not... PTC'c Pro/Collaborate(free with maintenance) is an excellent demo tool... the other end just has to install the free Productview light application and they can see the model in realtime...
We use this to Demo the Pro/E quite often, to places that are far away... or if we...
In order to import and export DXF and DWG files, the option #Use Fast HLR must be unchecked in the #Utilities, #Environment dialog box... This must be one of the changes you have made... Daniel Pro/E Specialist

Well... You can try the easy fix of logging is as an Intralink Admin and then DEMOTE the instance to a Release Level that you can change... Daniel Pro/E Specialist

I have a few questions before I can get what's happening here...
This family table Item... are the Instances all in the same folder?... are they all the same release level?... Does the logon you use have access to the folder the instance is in, and release level it is on?... Daniel Pro/E...
Hmmm... I found one here for the config.pro... font_size... it is used to determine the relative size of text in menus and diolog boxes...

Well... most programs fail to take advange of Dual processors... In the case of AutoCAD, you'd only notice it if you had other programs running at the same time that could take advantage of the extra processor... An example would be working in both Excel and AutoCAD at the same time... But...
But... if it is in Intralink... you're not working from the Hard drive... and when you do export from Intralink to the Hard drive... you do get the new name... So really... it is a real name change...
You do realize that you're not supposed to work directly from the .proi directory pretty much...
Hora... What?... He didn't ask about changing an Attribute... He asked about changing the name of a part... (or so I think)... And in intralink you can easily change the name of a part...
Inside the commonspace... "Obect" - "Rename"...
if it was an Attribute (parameter)...
<<How can I change the name of a part without affecting the related drawing?>>
Well.. I think he tried to say... Open the Drawing into Pro/ENGINEER... The open the Part that you need to rename... Do a "File" - "Rename" in Pro/E (both on disk and in session)... and save the...
