    adequate real constants for shell element

    I'd like to mesh a tube with shell43 elements in Ansys and export this part to ADAMS(a Multibody-System-Software). My Problem is how to find the adequate shell-thickness(real constant),so that the part's volume can be properly calculated and exported. I tested this with several real constants...

    Ansys Adams Interface

    Hello erverybody, I want to use the Ansys-Adams interface but I don't know how to do this. I have used Workbench until now. Does this interface work with Workbench or only with APDL? Is there a book or a website with quite good tutorials on this topic? Thank you
