Go into your dwg template and under tools->options-> document properties-> dimensions -> leaders ->have a play in here to find possibly what you are looking for.

We have wild cat vp560's and they are crap I have been trying to weedle some money out the company to get the suggested nvida cards to no availe so far.
since going to sp3 the system has been alot more stable
so that has helped .

Seen it lots of times , No problem in deleting it !!
I always check for it when inserting design tables cause it gets annoying and can play havoc (turns up in the design table as $PRP )I have seen it in 2001plus and 2003 and 2004

What we do is
page 1 full assembly + bom and maybe an exploded view.
page 2 cntl+c on the assembly on pg1 and paste on pg2 , then hide the bits we dont want and orientate it quite simple and the ballons we place on that page match the bom on pg 1.

I agree it should support being able to "save As" at least one backwards step . 2004 -2003 at least that way those that are reasonably happy with 2003s stability and ease of use can use other models from companies that have been conned into jumping onboard with the latest version.
