Okay here is an update on what's actually happening.
I have modified the explosion by using Hide components in view and turned off items I did not want to see.
When I go back to the drawing and update view these items are still there after the update view.
Is this something within the view...
Thanks cowski,
I have been doing the same as you explained. I have been saving the view after any modifications to the explosion, but not as a new view.
I actually had the views update okay since I posted. I normally switch views using the Part navigator under model views and not replace...
Hi everyone,
I'm using NX10 and have set up some exploded views within my drawing file.
I have created my exploded views and placed them onto the drawing. When I make a change to the explosion and saved the view. I then go into the drawing mode and use update view, but it does not update to...
I'm using NX9 and in some cases when I am constraing a Sketch
it will tell me that the Sketch needs 0 contraints, but in the Part Navigator
it still tells me that the Sketch in undercontrained.
Why, and does this mean that my Sketch is actually Fully constrained.
What am I missing.
Thanks,
Timey
Hi Everyone,
I have just upgraded to NX9 from NX7.5 and can someone please tell me how to edit a component pattern.
The pattern I have is a simple circular bolt pattern. I could delete it and re-do it but I know there should be a way to do this.
Please help.
Thanks,
Timey
I am using NX7.53 and have a part that was modeled to show a weld prep (chamfer).
For whatever reason my company refers not to show weld preps in an assembly being
used to create a drawing and just show the weld symbol at drawing level. Now
after promoting the body of the part at assembly...
I'm on NX7.5 and I put a threaded hole in and did a circular array and the counter sink dia changed in the model even though the attribute stayed.
Any one know why?
I use these quite often to obtain such things as dia. and deg. and such, but does anyone have a list of all symbols or special features that can be utilized using these? If so please share.
Thanks, timey
