Hello everyone,
I am running the microcontroller on 5V power supply (using the LM7805 regulator). I want to be able to detect the input voltage of the LM7805 when it falls down to around 6V. I don't have any ADC port left on the microcontroller. All I have is a digial input. My goal is to...
Hi everyone,
My LCD routine checks the busy flag of the LCD and make sure the LCD is not busy before writing new data to it. Therefore, if there is something wrong with the LCD module, my system hangs because it keeps checking and waiting for the LCD to be ready. Is there a way around this...
Hi everyone,
I am looking for a parallel in, serial out latch to provide more inputs for the microcontroller. The one I found is the 74HC165. Do you know if it is possible to cascade few 74HC165s together? I can't find this information on the datasheet.
Thank you for your help!
Thomas
Hi,
Thank for helping me! I want to control the on/off pin directly by a microcontroller running on 5V. The maximum source/sink current of the microcontroller is 20mA.

Hi all,
I am powering a device using the LM7805 (5V regulator). I want to be able to turn the LM7805 on and off. The LM7805, as you know, doesn't have the on/off pin. Is there a way to do this? What's about using the LM317?
Is there any 5V, 800mA regulator out there that has the on/off...
