Should this pipe need to do flattening test ?

so it means that T more than 40mm and D < 600 mm and T/D ratio ? 0,15 ,the manufacture must do the flattening test, doesn't it ? T less than or equal to 40mm, the manufacturer can use either a flattening test or a ring tensile test

Should this pipe need to do flattening test ?

Do 508×42, material is 15NiCuMoNb5, PO standard is EN 10216-2 In the mandatory test section of table 13 of EN 10216-2 , it says that “Flattening test for D < 600 mm and T/D ratio ? 0,15 but T ? 40 mm or Ring tensile test for D > 150 mm and T ? 40 mm” I don’t catch the meaning of the word...

which standard can be used for non-metal inclusion of P22 steel piping

UT testing is also a good alternative. It will catch the larger non-metallics But I think UT test in A335 is mandatory, so there is no need to do more The reason for I want to put some restrict oninclusion is that mechanical property is not stabled and some experts don’t satisfy mechanical...

which standard can be used for non-metal inclusion of P22 steel piping

there is no requirement for non-metal inclusion in ASTM A335,But I think P22 steel pipe should have some restriction of non-metal inclusion . If I want to put some restriction on technical specification of P22 steel pipe , what is reference standard I can use ? P22 steel piping is used for...
