I've been getting a runtime error when I am in the sketcher and I try to place a point in the center of an arc. Does anyone know why its doing it or know how to fix it?

Yes I got it to work by removing service pack 2 from Windows XP64. Works fine in sp1

You are correct, i am using it for a boolean operation in a block template where I can change back and forth between taps and counterbores. I have gotten around this by changing the pad direction by using a parameter to multiply by +1 or -1 the pad distance to effect the direction

Is it possible to toggle a hole direction with a parameter?

In Catia how do you do 3d solid text?

Yeah I know, it's just a lot easier to edit and add to an Excel spreadsheet in my opinion.

At least on my windows, office & Catia configuration anyway

Something in the new Windows service pack doesn't allow Catia to interface with excel the way it should.

I uninstalled XP x64 SP2 and my spreadsheet problem went away.

Found the problem, Windows XP x64 service pack 2.It apparently isn't compatible with Catia v5 r17.

My office is up to date with all of the service packs, I will try to get ahold of any Catia v5 r17 updates and see if i still have the problem.
