Sc value (Compression. ct. Mod) for Design of Single-Angle Members
In Section 16.3 of the third edition of the LRFD manual, AISC defines Sc as the 'elastic section modulus to the tip in compression relative to the axis of bending.' I'm not sure what this means and, as such, how to calculate this value. Any advice would be most welcomed.- tdmgreen
