We got it. I wanted to finish this thread so that it may be of some use to someone else. In short, we were put onto the “bridge” function in UG by the EDS tech support hotline, IR# 4823256. Has anyone modeled a helical torsion spring? What are the steps? It seems simple - just a helix with a small space between each coil, and a wire "tab" bent at each end parallel to the axis of the helix, with a minimum bend radius of 2X diameter of the wire. Our attempts have...- swhitmarsh
