    flow rate will b more in case of one single big pipe, reason is very simple, less mechanical losses as in case of one pipe

    @Ism77, yes the total power input will b equal to total power take-off, no matter at how many locations u take off the power, but one thing have to be kept in mind that is friction losses will be more as it will occur at two locations.
