    Is anyone familiar with a product design called a hydraulic nut and what is your opinion on replacing the standard A194 nuts with this design. Does the hydraulic nut conform to any standards.

    No, not a superbolt a "hydraulic nut". I've had my share of superbolts and each bolt is like tightening a complete flange and then when you get ready to disassemble them, all the little studs that hold it together have to be burn't or sawed off.
