I know that I use intent manager because sometimes it's faster. On the more complex designs, intent manager can change dimensional values and it may not be obvious to the designer. This may lead to errors that are not caught in time.
My first thought, since you asked, is that you suspect "Bending Stress" as the problem. You then state that you plan on fixing it by adding "Tensile" strength to the shaft.
These are two different "Stresses" and you are not going to fix bending stress by adding...
I use "Insert Hole" and then "sketch" the profile of the thread size and taper. This way I get to see the taper and the full thread length.
Old fashion lines used in standard drawing practice work fine on the drawings, and the taper is evident. We use ANSI B1.20.1 call out...

At least contact them, they might know where to start looking.
"I've already made the sump deep enough to satisfy NPSH requirements."
You have no idea how strange that sounds. The depth of the sump will only meet it's own requirements. You need to meet the requirements of the system. What goes down must go up.
Ask the PE on the job what he/she...
I knew this is what you were thinking.
Try this, it might help, it might not, but it's how I relate it.
Think of a battery circuit:
A one volt battery in parallel with another one volt battery will give you one volt. But the current (Amps) would double.
A one volt battery in series with...
yeah,
I had a hard time reading this too.
I'll just state the rules to support Bob and to see if I understand the question.
Sounds like a parallel system, right?
So:
1. The flow divides in a manner that the head loss in each branch is the same.
2. The head loss between the two headers is...
We have had to change the font to get decent JPGs. But, I tell you, It's a real hit and miss to get things you like.
We usually import an image to another publishing package and add text there.
