I have designed many corrugated steel silos' foundations and haven't had any problems, probably because I take appropriate values on allowable bearing stress to limit settlement, the secret is there.

I'm designign a bolted molasses tank, and i need some seal to prevent leaks, but molasses is corrosive, What product can I use (either solid or silicon like aplicable) any experience on molasses corrosion?
The molasses is used on a feed mill
AISC has a design guide (no. 4) for extended end plate bolted moment connection, but I need some kind of guide to design moment connections but using flush end plate, is any document out there for this? Static load connections.
