Can anyone give me any insight into the Brinell Hardness requirements for Monel 400 after PWHT for pipe? Is it in the range of 160-185 BHN? I also can not find any information regarding at what hardness levels does Monel 400 become susceptible to cracking. I have seen some documentation...

stormwater containment sump would be a below grade, reinforced concrete sump with a submersible pump used to pump out stormwater. Typcal dimensions are 10ft wide by 10 ft deep.

Can anyone explain why the allowable stresses for F316 are higher than F316L in SA-182? It appears that above 850'F, 316L is not suitable wheras 316 has allowable stress up to 1500'F.Other than the low carbon content in the L grade, I see no difference in the composition.

I've seen that a copper based thread lubricant is not recommended for use in HF alkylation units, rather a Nickel base anti seize compound is recommended. Why is that? I've heard that for marine applications to prevent a galvanic cell from forming but not HF units.Thanks
