I have seen some medium voltage disconnect switches locked in the closed position. It appears this was done to avoid some vandalism as the switchgear is not enclosed in a fence. Is this acceptable?
We are adding onto our manufacturing facility. One electrical design uses aluminum buss duct for 480V distribution. Another uses copper buss duct. Aside from price, what are they advantages and disadvantges of each?
