    insulation for ducts

On some jobs we internally insulate the first 25' of duct for sound control then go to external insulation (cost) for the rest of the duct run.

    Experience with H2S

Be sure to specify several flag poles around the property with big flags so you know what direction is downwind. (Run upwind). We do that at oil refineries. Don't forget some SCBA packs and OSHA warning signs.

    LEED information on drawings.

We are about to start a LEED project (MEP). We are planning to use a leaf symbol next to LEED items on the drawings. This should help prevent items from getting VE off the job and help the reviewer spot items. What have people done on other project?

    hot water expansion pressure calculation

You might want to test the system after going to 220 F. That is above the temperature limit for some PEX.

    Chilled Water Piping Material

Office rule - No PEX. CPVC is ok. Watch them like a hawk so they don't use PVC.

    Revit MEP

Revit MEP is getting better but it is not up to speed. We can still go faster in autocad. You should go to a Revit MEP training class because you would never figure it out on your own.

3D Model of a SAT Diver

You could grab a photo of a SAT diver. Cut the rest of the photo out. Xref into Autocad as an OLE. I would also email the commercial diving schools.

    Pedestrian Tunnel

We did a sky bridge between two buildings. It was a glass enclosed walkway two stories above the street. We have to provide 45F to 85F climate control with 15% outside air. We had to provide a smoke exahust fan on the top. 6 air changes per hour. Fully sprinklered with a dry system. The City...

    Sulfur dioxide air filtration

I think you will have to go with a "chemical" filter.

    Three Way mixing valves

We specify diverting valves on our projects. They have given us better cooling coil temperature control than mixing.

    Too much ventilation Air

Yes the barometric dampers at the RTU should be able to vent the relief air. My rule of thumb is 5-10% of the air will be lost thru the construction. You want to leave 10% of the return air in the space for pressurization.

    Solar Tint vs Window Screens

Window screens that block sunlight also block the airflow thru the screen. If you never open the windows, screens have a lower installed cost.
