Be sure to specify several flag poles around the property with big flags so you know what direction is downwind. (Run upwind). We do that at oil refineries. Don't forget some SCBA packs and OSHA warning signs.
We are about to start a LEED project (MEP).
We are planning to use a leaf symbol next to LEED items on the drawings.
This should help prevent items from getting VE off the job and help the reviewer spot items.
What have people done on other project?
Revit MEP is getting better but it is not up to speed.
We can still go faster in autocad.
You should go to a Revit MEP training class because you would never figure it out on your own.
We did a sky bridge between two buildings. It was a glass enclosed walkway two stories above the street. We have to provide 45F to 85F climate control with 15% outside air. We had to provide a smoke exahust fan on the top. 6 air changes per hour. Fully sprinklered with a dry system.
The City...
Yes the barometric dampers at the RTU should be able to vent the relief air.
My rule of thumb is 5-10% of the air will be lost thru the construction.
You want to leave 10% of the return air in the space for pressurization.
