    TOC enrichment in alkaline solutions

    The objective is to enrich the TOC in caustic solutions derived from alumina refining. Feed temperatures could be from 50 - 95ºC and alkalinity from 5 - 100 g/L NaOH (i.e. pH > 12) and concentrate flows from 5 - 30 m3/hr. The TOC is mostly sodium carboxylates and fulvates/humates. Any advice...
