Design for impact
I am designing for some plastic parts to be used as enclosures. One of the requirements for the final assembly is that the enclosures should withstand 0.5J impact energy. How do I consider this impact force for designing the plastics? Is taking 4 times the tensile strength OK? Stayur- stayur
